20 Years of performances in Oldtown Scottsdale

From right to left me on Steel, Native American Becky on Dusty and Dr. Denson on Casper during the Parada del Sol Parade 2017.

The Oldtown Merchants Association and the city of Scottsdale have been very generous to me and my horses.

In 2001 I started performing for the Oldtown Merchants Association on my original horse Steel. The second week we were in Oldtown we started doing our short performances in the Rusty Spur Saloon every Saturday. A few years later, at the age of six, Dusty had become experienced enough to start working in Oldtown.

For a couple of years they alternated weekends working with me.

Dusty became the star of the show and performed with me there for 15 years.

The city of Scottsdale was pleased with our work so they

picked up my contract from the Old town Merchants Association.

Except for the year of the Covid Pandemic

we entertained every season and this year we completed 20 seasons.

It is now time for me and Dusty to slow down our schedule and ease into retirement.

We will still be doing some special performances for the city of Scottsdale so keep your eyes open for them. We will miss all of the returning visitors that we have met over the years.

There are no words that I can find to express my deep gratitude and thanks to the city of Scottsdale

and all the visitors to Oldtown for the joy you have given me.

Performing for the city of Scottsdale has been the entertainment highlight of my life.

We're in the Rusty Spur Saloon again.

The first few years Pima Plaza was our base of operations.

As people strolled by they would stop to watch the shows and listen to songs. As always petting the horse and taking your picture with him was a big hit.

We're sitting on our first horse this is so cool!

Hanging out at the Sugar Bowl and I can't even get a single scoop.
